Valentine's Day Pattern #4

The latest issue of Crochet Today! (Feb/Mar 2014) is on newsstands now.

Inside you will find all sorts of great projects.

One of my designs are the Sweetheart Hangers.

They were crocheted with Red Heart Super Saver yarn.  They make a great quick and practical gift.  The hearts are stuffed with fiberfil but I think it would be neat to stuff them with balsam or some other kind of potpourri to add a nice scent to your closet.

You can find this magazine in your local craft store, book store or on-line at: www.crochettoday.com.

Valentine's Day Pattern #3 - Quick Last Minute Project

Looking for something new to wear for Valentine's Day?

Well, this Tie the Knot Necklace from Crochet Today!'s January 2014 issue would be perfect.

This is made out of Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3 crochet thread and a simple necklace chain.

The double heart design is eye-catching and highlights my love of Celtic Knots!

All instructions and diagrams can be found by ordering the January 2014 issue at: www.crochettoday.com.

Valentine's Day Pattern #2 - Sweet on You

I designed this giant Donut Pillow for the January 2014 issue of Crochet Today!
I used Red Heart Super Saver and a large hook.

Make this for your child's room as a reminder of how much you care.  And remember, it is one of the few Valentine's gifts that has zero calories. :)

Valentine's Day Pattern #1

Can you believe we are well into 2014 and getting ready for Valentine's Day?

Here is one design I created for Crochet Today!'s January 2014 issue  - Heart Mandala.

I crocheted it with Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3 crochet thread in Warm Rose, White, Red and Lime.

This is an intermediate pattern since several motifs are crocheted and then worked into the overall doily shape. With its 19 hearts, it is sure to add a touch of Valentine's Day spirit to any table and home!

The issue is already off the newsstands but you can find copies of it at www.crochettoday.com.
